OOTD: 9.12.15

Hey Everyone! I am super sorry that I haven't posted in almost two weeks. I've had Field Hockey practice almost every single day and I started school a few days ago. I have 2-3 more posts that will be posted this month to make up for my lack of presence lately on here. I've been trying to make a schedule for posts on this blog. I'm also trying to get a guest blogger once a month (you can email me at thisfashiongirl1@gmail.com if you want to guest post for me). But now I am back with an Outfit of the Day. At the bottom of the post is announced the winner of the giveaway!

Today, September 13, is my dad's birthday. But, we celebrated it in Manhattan on Saturday. My dad is one of the best people I have ever known and I am so glad my mother and I got to celebrate his birthday with him.

Here is my outfit for the celebration:

My outfit:

Gray shirt - PacSun (originally: $22 on sale for: $11)
Crocheted Blue Cardigan - PacSun $38
Black Jeans - Hollister (originally: $40 on sale for: $20)
Heeled Boots - Steve Madden (originally $80+ on sale for $48)

The night was so beautiful and the Empire State Building glowed a bright white.

We ate at this restaurant called 15 East  and it was located on 15 East 15th street in Manhattan. I am a huge fan of Japanese food so I found this place very classy and very good.

We got Mushroom Soba Noodles which were amazing. The three of us had a small bowl each and would pour the noodles into our own bowl. We also had the option to put hot pepper flakes in it. We got Amago Soba too but I have no pictures of that.

This dish was avocado slices with lobster on top. Avocados are one of my favorite vegetables so I found the whole dish very delicious.

Sushi is my dad's favorite food so of course we got a variety of sushi pieces. The chef special picked each piece for the dish. The one closest in the picture was my favorite, it's called "fatty tuna" and is a very special piece of sushi.

The restaurant took such pride in it's sushi that they told us not to use soy sauce on some of the pieces. I, personally, don't like soy sauce but when a restaurant tells you not to use soy sauce then that means the fish are really fresh and good.

After dinner we went home and it started to rain. I love the city in the rain because it's just so beautiful. We were on the Brooklyn Bridge and it was such a beautiful sight.

Thank you so much for reading! I love writing on here and how supportive everyone has been of my blog. Last post I had a giveaway and the winner is....

Orla was randomly selected out of the few people who entered to win my giveaway. I hope she likes the gift.

I will definitely have more giveaways in the future (when I hit milestones) so everyone will have plenty of chances to win.

I recommend checking out her blog and giving her a follow because she deserves it.

Don't forget to leave a comment below! I love you all so much and I will post soon.
